《聖誕快樂》,1914年第一次世界大戰的一個平安夜，各方軍人都放下武器，聚首一堂，共渡戰場上最平安的一夜。電影中沒有偉大的戰爭場面，亦沒有煸情的對白，只是將事實一幕幕搬上銀幕，表露軍人的內心掙扎與無奈，揭示領導層的不近人情，可見戰爭的恐怖。
